This watercolor by Henry Price (1819–63) depicts a large rock formation near Medellín (present-day Antioquia Department), Colombia. The annotation in the lower left gives the height, width, and circumference of the formation and indicates that the measurements were needed by Colonel Codazzi for mapmaking.
